Often times there is no time to relax, kindle the creative flame and design a stack
of cards.  This rush can occur when it comes to thank you notes after holidays and
birthdays.  You need multiple cards to be sent out directly after the special day.
As much fun as it is to play in the ink, embellishments often lend themselves to
creating a "quick" card.  Keep your eye out for small flat embellishments that
would work in the center front of the card.  Buy them and stash them in a safe
place for the day you need "something fast".

A small sparkly snowflake attached with a brad and this small organdy bag
(1 1/2" x 1 3/4") make great centerpieces for a card.  Both items were found
in seasonal item displays.  We used our 1 1/2" square punch to create an insert
in the bag.  We stamped "thanks", but it could have been any greeting.

Search the mark down displays after every holiday for small great finds.  We
found these outstanding interactive tags at our local grocery store.  The
original price was $2 for 8 tags (not a bad price for a moving tag of this sort).
With after holiday discounts of  75% off, these were a steal and we cleared
them out.

If you are a scrapper, you have stickers of all all types that can be made into
a quick card.   Stickers can be expensive.  We picked these stickers up on
markdown tables.  Size and distinctiveness should be kept in mind.  Our
sticker on the left is embossed.  We simply mounted it to silver cardstock
and added silver cording.  The sticker on the right was chosen as would
easily fit into a square punched window.
